Serving on the Bend La-Pine School Board for eight years, Cheri helped boost graduation rates by 10%, secure voter-approval of 4 new schools to relieve overcrowding and fast-track installation of new safety entrances for 22 schools. In the Oregon House, Cheri voted to increase K-12 school funding by 10% -- the largest education budget in state history.
